The Santa Fe New Year celebration in the plaza will return as a face-to-face event later this year, according to the Santa Fe New Mexican.
The event is open to the public and features fireworks set off by the La Fonda Hotel in the plaza. The event will culminate with a giant Zia sun symbol rising 18 meters into the air.
No vaccination certificate or COVID-19 test is required, but wearing masks and keeping the correct distance is recommended.
