Rodney D Clark II: January 21, 1964 – December 27, 2022

Rodney Don Clark II, 58, passed away on Dec. 27, 2022, while visiting his daughter and family in Ogden, Utah, for Christmas.

He was born Jan. 21, 1964, in Farmington, New Mexico, to RD Clark, Sr. and Mary “Leona” (Tuttle) Clark, who shortly after moved to Casper, Wyoming, and divorced. Rodney was the baby of the family which included older siblings, Vicky, Ricky, Victor and Mary.

Later, Joe H. Patterson literally “bumped into their lives” bringing with him three more siblings, Jane, James “Walt,” and Kerri Jo Patterson. Joe Patterson became a much loved and respected stepfather to Rodney.

Rodney is preceeded in death by his mother: Mary “Leona” (Granny) Clark, stepfather: Joe H. (He-Paw) Patterson, his grandparents: Birt O. and Mary Melinda (Burnett) Tuttle, aunt and uncles: Corrina and Ken Wood and Gary Littrell, stepsister and brother: Jane Patterson and James “Walt” Patterson, his cousin Debbie Berry, and RD Clark Sr.

Splitting their time between the Patterson Ranch (Off the Ross Road, northeast of Douglas, Wyoming), and the Marigold House (Casper, Wyoming), Rodney attended schools in Casper, graduating to his mother’s delight in 1983 from the Natrona County High School.

Rodney’s fondest memories growing up where the Marigold House, Patterson Ranch, his mom and best friends which included his cousins: Mike and Frank Register, Steven Moncur and Terry Wayne Stone. Through the years he added James Henderson and Roderick Smith into the mix, and Rodney loved everyone of them.

The absolute love in Rodney’s life was Lori J. Zimmerman, who finally married him on Nov. 17, 1990. Rodney and Lori were blessed with three children; Christopher, Jeneil and SarahJo, and to add spice to our lives his beloved nephew, Randy Robinett.

Driving trucks was his dream, and to become an over-the-road truck driver, even better. His wife Lori, helped present an opportunity to make his dream a reality, and Rodney jumped at the chance and went over the road. With the help of a friend, Jason Kuznia, Rodney came off the road to drive truck for McMurry Redi-Mix (Casper) for a number of years. He was then hired by TC Trucking Inc. (owners: Tom Connally and Dan Roylance)(Casper, Wyoming). TC Trucking gave Rodney a second family. A special mention needs to be made about this crew he grew to love and respect — Dan Roylance, Scott Lawrence, Cheryl Wolfe, Jamie Perkins, JD Anderson and Bill Bloomfield. Rodney retired from TC Trucking in 2015.

Rodney is survived by his wife, Lori J. Clark, his children; Christopher J Clark, wife Heather and their two children, Tucker J and Everly (Evie) J Clark; Jeneil L. Clark, hubby Jerrod Cleveland and their four children, AJ (Alexandria), Vanessa, J’Lynn and Eli (Aston E.) Cleveland; SarahJo C. (Clark) Dandoy, hubby Tyson D. Dandoy and their four children, Kaydi’Ann J., Jersey L., Bronxton S. and Tahlia D. Dandoy; his nephew, Randy A. Robinett, wife Shanann, and their three children, Shad M., A. (Delilah) M. & Kevin J. Robinett; and Ryan Clark; siblings and more family: Vicky Jo (Peter) Rodolph, Ricky Lynn (Cathi) Proctor, Victor A. (Jean) Proctor, Mary M. Robinett, Kerri Jo Paddock, and 17 nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles: Lorrine “Birdie” Littrell, Bonnie & John Tuttle; Cousins: Mike Register, Frank Register, Mark Wood, Timi (Tuttle) Heaton, Tami (Tuttle) Trost and Tonya (Tuttle) Steele.

He was absolute about making every second count and knew that every day was a precious gift. Rodney was quite specific about his Memorial Service. Please wear casual clothes — BUT DO NOT FORGET THE TYE-DYE T-shirts!

Rodney Don Clark II’s Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023, at Big Horn Baptist Church, 1400 Fort St., Buffalo, Wyoming, at 11 am Mark and Kelli Wilson will be officiating. The reception will follow, given by Big Horn Baptist Church.

Jo Ann “Jojo” Williams

Jo Ann “Jojo” Williams: 1976 – 2022

Jo Ann Williams passed away at the age of 46 in Casper, Wyoming. She was surrounded by her loved ones. She loved all her kids and grandkids.

She was born on Feb. 21, 1976, to Vlasta Cox and Jerry Weymouth in Lusk, Wyoming. She lived most of her life in Lusk. She moved to Glenrock, Wyoming. She then moved to Casper, Wyoming. Then she moved back to Glenrock, Wyoming. She finally settled down in Casper, Wyoming.

She met Donny Williams and got married. They went their own ways after 16 years together. She loved her Shasta soda and chewing on ice. She always had a smile when her grandbabies called her no matter the time of day. She loved camping in the Wind River Canyon. She loved making bracelets out of yarn and spending time with her grandbabies. She was always in the kitchen every Christmas and Thanksgiving making her famous frogs eyed salad.

She met Kayla Miller and became really good friends with her. She grew a bond with her daughter Zamaura. Her and Zamaura had a bond and Zamaura gave her the nickname Jojo.

She is survived by her four kids, Mersades (Kevin) Meyers of Casper, Dakota (Brandon) Sipp of Casper, JC Williams of Casper, and Hannah Williams of Casper; and her grandchildren, Chrisopher, Tyler, Michael, BobbiJo, Madison and one on the way, Marla JoAnn Weymouth Meyers; her brother, Lee Weymouth, her mother, Vlasta.

She was preceded in death by her dad, Jerry Weymouth.

Roberta A Ellis

Roberta A Ellis: February 4, 1928 – December 27, 2022

Roberta A. Ellis, 94 of Spearfish, South Dakota, passed away peacefully in her home on Dec. 27, 2022.

Roberta was born on Feb. 4, 1928, in Duncombe, Iowa, to Irvin and Agnes Reckard. She was the eldest of four children growing up in Northwest Iowa. After graduating from high school she moved west to Wyoming where she obtained her teaching certificate.

She met and married John A “Jack” Ellis, on Dec. 27, 1952. They were prominent sheep ranchers in the Casper area. She was an active member of the Wyoming Woolgrowers Association & Cow Belle’s. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, square dancing, sewing and playing bridge. They were parishioners at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and they volunteered at the Parish store as well as the Nicolaysen Art Museum.

In 1991 she married Leroy Wright of Midwest, Wyoming. She and Leroy were able to travel extensively across the country to visit family and friends.

Roberta is survived by her brothers Charles (Mary) Reckard of Arnolds Park, IA and Joseph (Mary) Reckard of Moline, Illinois; her children: Jack (Lucie) Ellis of Vermont, Becky Dunlap of Casper, Wyoming, Marie (Dean) Sargent of Sturgis, South Dakota, and her grandchildren: Nick (Nikki) Dunlap of Florissant, Colorado, and Hope Dunlap of San Diego, California, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Ann Leuer, husband’s Jack Ellis and Leroy Wright and her son Tom Ellis.
