Rescue operations are underway on the Sandia Peak Tramway in Albuquerque, New Mexico as at least one tram is stuck due to the icy conditions in the area, the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office said Saturday.
The Sandia Peak Tramway (cable car) approaches the top of Sandia Peak in New Mexico.
Moisture and wind caused ice on the tram line, which resulted in two tram cars getting stuck near Tower 2 on Friday at around 10 p.m. KQRE reports.
