Reserve a Thanksgiving meal from these area restaurants this week

LAS CRUCES – This week is a time for family, friends, gratitude and good food — Thanksgiving!

As people gather together for the fall holiday on Thursday, Nov. 24, the last thing on some people’s minds is cooking. Lucky for them, several area restaurants are offering traditional Thanksgiving Day meals.

A Bite of Belgium

Las Crucens can reserve a table at A Bite of Belgium this year for a full Thanksgiving dinner. From 7 am to 3 pm Thursday, the restaurant will be serving slow-roasted turkey, Smithfield ham, dressing, casseroles, vegetables and a slice of pumpkin pie or a Belgian waffle. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 575-527-2483.

Cracker Barrel

The Old Country Store is offering Thanksgiving meals to go this Thursday. Customers can pre-order a Homestyle Turkey N’ Dressing Meal – including the cranberry relish – Chicken N’ Dumplins or a Country Vegetable Plate comprised of four country sides. All meals are available for Thanksgiving Day only.

Orders can be placed online at www.crackerbarrel.com. Pick-up times are scheduled during the order process.

The popular buffet restaurant is offering Thanksgiving specials for pickup Thursday. Customers have a choice between the Holiday Sliced ​​Turkey Meal and the Holiday Sliced ​​Ham Meal. Both include sides, rolls and cookies. The regular buffet menu is also available, including items such as fried chicken, pot roast, meatloaf, fish and pizza.

Little Toad Creek

Looking for something a bit simpler than a full meal? Little Toad Creek will be open Thanksgiving Day from 11:30 am to 6:30 pm with their full menu and a few special additions. Their Hot Toddy will be added to the menu, made with bourbon, honey and lemon.

Ross Geller’s “Moist Maker”, from “Friends,” will also make a menu appearance. The sandwich, featured on the episode “The One With Ross’ Sandwich,” will be a turkey club with turkey, stuffing, cranberry spread on sourdough dipped in gravy.

Mother’s Place

Enjoy a homecooked meal without having to lift a finger when you go to Mother’s Place. Mother will be serving a traditional dinner of turkey and ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, dressing, candied yams, vegetables, cranberry sauce and rolls.

Reservations can be called in at 575-312-2446 for 11 am with seating every 10 minutes. The second seating group will start at about 1:30 pm

Head over to the Pecan Grill & Brewery on Thursday for a meal or happy hour. Turkey, ham, stuffing, vegetables, sweet potato casserole and your choice of pumpkin or pecan pie are on the menu. Reservations are not required but are strongly encouraged. Call 575-521-1099 to claim your table.

Happy hour is from 3-6 pm and the restaurant will be offering Thanksgiving cocktails and specials on wine by the bottle.

Hello! de Mesilla

Pick up a traditional Thanksgiving meal from Salud! de Mesilla between noon and 3 pm Thursday. Turkey breast, stuffing and all of the usual trimmings are on the menu, including a chef’s choice dessert. Dine-in will not be offered. Reserve your meal by calling 575-323-3548.
