Ronald Earl Hebert, 73, of Farmington, New Mexico, died in Albuquerque, New Mexico on October 11, 2021. Ronald was born on January 8, 1948 in Teague, Texas to parents Roland Ed (Ben) and Josephine Jelick.
God saw that you were tired and sent you home on October 11, 2021. Ronald Earl Hebert was 73 years old. Born to Roland Ed (Ben) and Josephine in January 1948. He was the apple of her eye. Ronald was born in Teague, Texas and, as a baby, moved with his parents to Louisiana, where he lived at a young age to follow work in the oil field. He graduated from Vidilla High School in 1966 and then received his bachelor’s degree in administration from Louisiana Tech. He started working for a Handi Mart chain, which resulted in a zone manager who was in LA, TX. Rona made his stay in Farmington, New Mexico in 1988, where he met the love of his life and his soul mate Lana Gonzales, with whom they raised 4 children. Ron owned and operated Drill Bit & Supply and Hebert Technologies, sold his business to make it easily accessible to his children, founded Rolan’s Restoration, and served as Operations Manager for American Furniture until he retired in 2017.
Ron has never met a stranger; he made some lifelong friends. As President of Tres Rios Abate, he was with PHCC on tow missions to Haiti. But above all to be the best husband, father, big brother, uncle and grandpa. Ron was the # 1 fan of his children and a supporter of multiple sports. But most of all, he’s been Lana’s best friend and soul mate for 22 years.
So fly up and love you more until we meet again.
Ronald preceded his parents Ben & Jo Hebert and son Joseph Christian Hebert in death.
Ronald leaves behind his wife Lana Hebert (Yolanda), sons Jon (Lauren) Hebert, Dominic (Gloria) Thompson, daughters Rachel (Justin) Niederhofer, FaLana Gonzales (James), brothers Douglas, Michael (Debbie) Hebert, sisters Cindy (Doug) Lupo, Denise Housley, grandson John David, Elijah Dean, Joyanna Faith, Grace Ann Niederhofer, Jesse Carter, Levi Simon Hebert, Jaeden Jaquez, Cierra, Tony, Dominic Jr, Hannah, Annalisaa Thompson, Eden Wiley, Madisol, Jaden Ulibarri, great-granddaughter Everlee Marie.
