Thank you ABQ for donating school supplies!
Members of the Corporate Volunteer Council of New Mexico raised more than $ 40,000 for school supplies for APS students.
The Corporate Volunteer Council of New Mexico has partnered with the One Albuquerque Fund and the Albuquerque City Office of Civic Engagement to raise funds for school supplies to help Albuquerque public school families. Examples of materials purchased with these donations through the Albuquerque Public Schools Education Foundation include pencils and pens, colored pencils and markers, glue sticks, spiral notebooks, protractors, and many other essential study supplies.
“Thank you to the staff of over a dozen members of the Corporate Volunteer Council and the City of Albuquerque for their generosity and coming together for our students at this time when more families need community support,” said Vaisu Desai Bronk, manager of APS – Volunteer programs and special projects: “No student should miss a day at school because they lack basic needs such as school supplies. The annual offer offensive helps to give the students the tools they need so that they come to school ready to learn and develop. ”
School supplies are available for all APS schools and APS charter schools through the APS Community Clothing Bank / School Supply Barn.

If your child needs school supplies, contact their school. You can speak to someone in the office or the school counselor, social worker, family officer, community school coordinator, as well as your child’s teacher. Everyone is ready and able to help.

- Write checks payable to the APS Education Foundation and designated to the APS Community Clothing Bank.
