A man who matched Jay’s description was seen at a Kingman ATM at around 9:51 a.m. on June 3, then seen getting in and out of a white Ford F-150 pickup truck. The Kingman Police Department received surveillance video from a local company and a Farmington police officer checked it. The officers observed no other occupants of the vehicle and no one left the truck.

Jay is accused of using Finona’s bank card and is under oath, under a warrant, charged with improper withdrawal from a financial institution.

According to court records, he was convicted of second degree murder in 1999, along with two convictions of grievous bodily harm to a household member in 1998.

On June 1, a trail of blood was discovered outside Finona’s residence on the underside of the front porch deck. The path led from the porch to the gravel driveway that was missing Finona’s white Ford 150. It was initially reported that her vehicle was in the apartment.

Investigators found a single eyeglass lens covered in blood and a left temple at the bottom of the porch. A crime scene investigator said someone tried to cover and hide the trail of blood with potting soil.

The police found that Finona’s ATM card had been used four times. It was deployed in Window Rock on May 31, Las Vegas on June 1, and Kingman on June 3.

Anyone with information on Finona can contact Det. Daven Badoni at 505-599-1005 or contact the Farmington Police Tip Line at 505-599-1068.
