Vectra Bank welcomes new Municipal Finance Relationship Manager

DENVER, Oct 13, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Vectra Bank Colorado is pleased to Ryan Morrill to the community finance team. Morrill will assume the role of Relationship Manager for local finance and Vectra Bank’s presence throughout Colorado and New Mexico.

Morrill will work with government agencies, local government advisors, bond attorneys, trustees and government associations to identify, structure and fund exempt and taxable transactions to meet capital requirements. This will help fund community projects such as new schools, fire stations, and utility projects. He can provide support not only in the credit department, but also in treasury management. He hopes to take an advisory approach to working with communities across the Vectra Footprint to build trust and maintain mutually beneficial relationships for both the communities and the bank.

Morill brings six years of experience in the municipal lending business and knows the nuances and regulatory requirements associated with lending to municipalities. He graduated in Metropolitan State College with a bachelor’s degree in finance in 2011 and has worked in the banking industry since then. His most recent positions include Vice President of Public Finance at Academy Bank and Government & Non-Profit Finance Portfolio Manager at NBH Bank.

Morrill lived in Colorado since 1993 and enjoys outdoor activities like camping, hiking and boating with his kids. He regularly attends sporting events and coaches his son in football and baseball.
