What would the APS mill raise, finance bond issues?

Below is a list of projects the Albuquerque Public Schools District says will fund if the capital mill levy and bond issues are approved by voters in the November 2nd election. The measures would raise APS $ 630 million.

♦ McKinley Middle School: Construction of a classroom block / administration building, $ 14,709,736

♦ Sierra Vista Basic Level: Build a classroom block, $ 13,066,666.67

♦ Taylor Middle School: Build a classroom block, $ 14,872,366.67

♦ Truman Middle School: Build a classroom block, $ 18,668,178.67

♦ Valle Vista basic level: Build a classroom block, $ 11,561,576

♦ Online school / eCademy: Upgrade improvements, $ 1,500,000

♦ Harrison Middle School: Design / build the first phase of a planned 3-phase total school replacement project, $ 30,333,333.33

♦ Desert Ridge Middle School: Design / construction of classroom expansions and site infrastructure improvements, $ 13,453,000

♦ Van Buren Middle School: Design / build the first phase of a planned 3-phase total school replacement project, $ 30,333,333.33

♦ Whitter elementary level: Design / construction of a classroom block and replacement for administrators, $ 13,612,000

♦ La Mesa Basic Level: Design / construction / renovation and replacement of classroom blocks, $ 16,638,000

♦ Eldorado high: Design / Construct a New Title IX Sports / Gym Wing – the first 2 phases of a proposed 5-phase school replacement plan, $ 33,600,000

♦ Corrales elementary level: Design / build and renovate a new gym, cafeteria, playgrounds and classroom block – first phase of a planned 2-phase school renovation / renovation project, $ 6,380,000

♦ Capital Distribution to Charter Schools in the Albuquerque Area: $ 68,617,021.28

♦ Construction contingents, portable classrooms and property acquisition: $ 27,910,000.00

♦ School security: $ 12,500,000

♦ Roof covering: $ 8,000,000

♦ Heating, ventilation and cooling (HVAC): $ 15,000,000

♦ General school upgrades & special projects: $ 13,500,000

♦ Disposal and construction site facilities: $ 9,500,000

♦ ADA compliance and security of site circulation: $ 4,400,000

♦ Water / energy saving and artificial turf: $ 8,750,000

♦ CABQ Physical Education Aquatic Project (Pool) for the La Cueva and Eldorado clusters: $ 2,000,000
