ROSWELL UFO: New report on “Boomerang Craft” to MUFON fuels City of Faith is MEKKA for extraterrestrials | Strange | news

A family has just sent a report to the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) about the alleged sighting on Halloween 2004.

Roswell, New Mexico, has been at the heart of the UFO scene since the military sensationally announced in a July 1947 press release that they found the remains of a crashed flying saucer in the nearby desert.

But the next day, it withdrew the testimony, saying it was actually a damaged US Air Force balloon.

Witnesses later came forward and said that there were alien bodies in the “crashed ship” which were then taken along with the wreckage to the mysterious, top-secret military base Area 51 in Nevada.

The new report from an unnamed family member described a boomerang UFO moving quietly just 150 meters above him.

It said: “I and two family members were in the back yard of the house at around 11:07 pm.

“There were no clouds, just a clear sky. We had a fire pit that we all stood around, then I looked up to see a gray object in the shape of a boomerang with dim lights under the belly of the vehicle.

“When I first noticed the flying object, I found it strange because there were no noises like jet engines or propellers driving the object.

“When I first saw it, I didn’t know what to think, but my first thought was its shape.

“It was shaped like a boomerang and was moving very quietly south, about 150 meters above us.”

MUFON, based in the USA, is the world’s largest organization dedicated to UFO and extraterrestrial research.

It maintains a global database of such sightings.

The report to the organization added, “Our feelings were confused as we did not know what we had just seen and we freaked out about it.

“We all agreed that it was a boomerang.

“It moved south for about three minutes and finally vanished into the sky in no time.

“That’s when we knew we’d stumbled upon a UFO.”

MUFON has received more than 40 reports about Roswell since 2002.
