Heritage Hotels and Resorts hold job fairs throughout New Mexico

NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – The legendary “Thunderbirds” have landed at Spaceport America for a training mission. The Air Force Demonstration Squadron made its first appearance at the facility near Truth or Consequences last week. The team has trained at its home base, Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, for the past several years. They’ll be at the spaceport by next week.

“We are honored to host the US Air Force Thunderbirds,” said Scott McLaughlin, executive director of the New Mexico Spaceport Authority, in a press release. “Spaceport America is a unique multipurpose facility serving commercial and government aerospace customers. Our partnership with the US Army’s White Sands Missile Range allows us to attract a wide range of users for training, testing and development, and the great weather of southern New Mexico is perfect for year-round missions.”
