ALBUQUERQUE, NM (KRQE) – NMDOG serves chained, abused, and forgotten dogs across the state and is a purely voluntary, care-based, nonprofit dog rescue service. Founded in 2010 and based in Albuquerque, the organization works with law enforcement, animal control, and animal shelters in New Mexico helping them with their worst cases of cruelty and abuse.

NMDOG supports the dogs with medical care and emotional rehabilitation to prepare them for adoption. This week, NMDOG introduces Tessa, an affectionate pit bull terrier and boxer mix who had a difficult start in life but is now thriving.
