OFFICERS ARRIVED ON SCENE THEY ATTEMPTED TO TALK TOHE T INDIVIDUAL AND WORK WITH THE INDIVIDUAL APPEARS INDIVIDUAL DID CALL 911 ALSO AND AT THIS POINT IN TIME ETH ALTERCATION ESCALATED T THEO POINT WHERE AT LEAST ONE OFFICER FIRED THEIR WEAPON AND THE INDIVIDUALS DECEASED ON SCENE. ALBUQUERQUE POLICE CHIEF HAROLD MENADI SAYS HE BELIEVES MULTIPLE OFFICERS FIRED THEIR WEAPONS. IT IS STILL UNCLEAR WHETHER THE MAN WHO WAS KILLED FEDIR AT OFFICERS AND CHIEF MEDINA DID SAY THAT ALL OFFICERS ARE OKAY AND AVOIDED INJURY IN THE ALTERCATION. Suspect this after shooting incident involving Albuquerque police

A suspect is dead, after a confrontation resulted in a shooting involving Albuquerque police officers. APD has identified the individual as Collin Neztsosie.The incident took place near Tramway Blvd. SE and Central Ave SE., Saturday evening. APD chief Harold Medina says officers received a number of calls about a man, later identified as Neztosia, pointing a firearm at people in a parking lot. After attempts to calm Neztsosie down failed, the situation escalated and officers fired shots, killing Neztsosie at the scene. No officers were injured in the incident.
