November 19th – January 1st – Lights of Enchantment – Lights of Enchantment is a drive-through Christmas light show with over 350 light shows with over a million light points. Each ticket allows a truckload with family and friends.
November 26th – December 24th – New Mexico Artisan Holiday Market – Visit the Spur Line Supply Co. November 26th – December 24th to shop for locally made jewelry, fashion, arts, home decor, crafts, gifts, and more.
November 27th – December 30th – River of Lights – Enjoy the magic of millions of twinkling lights and nearly 600 dazzling Christmas shows at New Mexico’s largest walk-in lightshow. River of Lights was named a top 10 in USA Today’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice for Best Botanical Garden Holiday Lights in 2020.
December 25th – Virtual stories by the fireplace – virtually enjoy the age-old tradition of storytelling around the campfire. Watch Stories by the Fireside online from 5 p.m.
December 27th – Treecycling – The Waste Management, Parks and Recreation and PNM will begin recycling real Christmas trees for free at three different locations in Albuquerque starting December 27th. Artificial trees are not accepted. The staff at PNM Vegetation Management and Parks and Recreation will grind trees into mulch chips which can then be used as mulch to create a better growing environment for plants and living spaces. Trees can be dropped off Monday, December 27 through Sunday, January 9, 2022, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the Montessa Park Convenience Center, Eagle Rock Convenience Center and the Ladera Golf Course.
December 31 – Jungle Jam Presents: Noon Year’s Eve Celebration for the Kids – Jungle Jam Presents Noon Year’s Eve 2021. This red carpet event for all ages will be a party to remember. The event includes a live DJ and dancing, photo booth, face painting, balloon spinning, and handicrafts. Your children run, crawl, slide and jump into the new year on the padless trampoline court and the huge playground with obstacles, bridges, slides and crawling tunnels. Also includes the Jungle Jam Grippy Socks, a slice of pizza and a 16 oz drink. Queen Elsa and Princess Anna von Arendelle will be available for photos and signing autographs (so bring your autograph book) and also take part in the balloon drop countdown until 12 noon
December 31 – New Year’s Eve before dark – Celebrate New Year’s Eve with the whole family at the Albuquerque Museum. Create a vacation-inspired work of art and tour the museum galleries. Free entry, kick-off at 10 a.m.
December 31 – New Year’s Eve benefit for the animals from ABQ – Lifetime for Dogs Presents a very special New Year’s Eve. Come to the Lizard Tail Brewery (Industrial) and rock out with Dirty Modine. Call 2022 with joy and create hope for Albuquerque’s shelter animals. The $ 35 entry fee includes a taco bar, hat, horn, lei, soap bubbles, and a midnight champagne toast. Proceeds will go to Funds For Freedom, a local charity that provides additional support to homeless pets in the city’s animal shelter system.

25 December – Santa’s Coming to Town Hall – Bernalillo’s Fire / Rescue Department has teamed up with Santa Claus to distribute goodie bags to the kids for Christmas. Stop at the town hall and see Santa Claus.
December 26th – The Railyard Artisan Market in Santa Fe – The Railyard Artisan Market, which started in 2009, represents a wide variety of New Mexico artists and artisans. The Sunday market offers a unique opportunity to enjoy local art and music in the farmers market pavilion. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. you will find ceramics, painting, jewelry, sculpture, fiber art, photography, hand-blown glass, artisan teas and handcrafted herbal products for the body. Since property tax invoices have recently been sent out, now is a good time for you to file this exemption.

🔶 NMDOT and UBER Team Up to Make the Roads Safer for the Holidays – The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) is working with the Governors Highway Safety Association (GHSA) and Uber to provide safe rides across New Mexico during the holidays . The road safety department of NMDOT received a grant from the GHSA to finance the trips through UBER. Uber rides are available Tuesday, November 23, 2021 through Friday, January 3, 2022 and include $ 15 Uber credit and no tip. The driving code is ENDEWI2021. Rides are offered anywhere Uber services are available in the state, with an emphasis on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve.
